Home cooked healthy meals, prepared using home grown produce and as many local suppliers as possible.

Cooked Main Meals
The main menu operates on a three week rota with a choice of main or vegetarian cooked meals cooked meals and homemade or fresh fruit and ice cream deserts . A basket of fresh fruit is available every day which children are able to choose from to go alongside their dessert. Individual yoghurts are also available every day, along with plain natural yoghurt should your child prefer.
Baked Potatoes
Oven baked potatoes are available each day, with grated cheese, baked beans or tuna mayo as choice of fillings (Maximum of 2 fillings). Served with cucumber sticks, sliced tomatoes, peppers and carrots.
Lunch Box
A filled roll is also available, with either cheese, ham, egg mayonnaise or tuna mayonnaise as choice of fillings (Maximum of 1 filling). Either on white or brown fresh rolls. There is also a piece of fresh fruit, a box of raisins and a yoghurt with a packet of crisps on a Friday. The lunchbox option comes with corresponding hot meal dessert. E.g. Should your child opt for a lunch box on a Thursday of week 3, they would be offered fruit crumble and custard for their dessert.
Cost
All meals are offered term time only, at a cost of £2.30 per meal. Currently, those children who are in Reception, Year One and Year Two are eligible to receive the meals free of charge (Universal Free School Meals). If you are in receipt of certain Benefits, you may be eligible for Free School Meals. If you are unsure whether your child or children qualify for Free School Meals, please contact the School Office for guidance.
Little Elms Nursery
For children who attend Little Elms Nursery, a reduced portion size of each hot meal and dessert is available at a cost of £1.80 per meal.
Children in Year R , 1 and 2 are entitled to a free school meal.
Order forms must be completed by 9am Wednesday of the week before.
Free school meals are available to children in Year 3-6 if you or your partner receive benefits.
For those children in the Nursery and Year 3-6 all orders and payments must be made in advance by the Wednesday morning before the required week.
Payments are made using the online payment system, School Money
Orders and payments can be block booked in advance.
