Welcome to Class 1

In Class 1 we have 26 bright, friendly and happy children. Mrs Jones teaches Year 1 and Year 2 in the mornings and all of Reception , Year 1 and Year 2 in the afternoons. Mrs Keeble teaches Reception in the mornings. Ms Davies, Miss Brookes and Miss Kennedy are our teaching assistants, who help us with all of our subjects and support those with additional needs.

We enjoy learning different sounds in phonics and use 'fredding' to help us blend sounds together and to spell new words. We love to read and enjoy learning about a range of different authors and read a variety of new and exciting books. We try to take part in lots of practical tasks to help us to remember new concepts.

We are very lucky to have Mrs Sennett, who teaches us Art on Mondays and Mr Jones who helps us to learn lots of skills in PE.
